In January 2021, the brand announced that GK Air had achieved more than 99.9% inactivation of SARS-CoV-2 on hard, non-porous surfaces in the testing described.
The announcement named the USA-WA1/2020 isolate and ASTM E1053. Although GK Air is an air-care product, this particular efficacy result relates to surface testing; it is not an airborne-virus test.
