In January 2021, GK announced more than 99.9% inactivation of SARS-CoV-2 for GK Surface at a one-minute contact time in the test described.
The announcement identified ASTM E1053, the USA-WA1/2020 isolate and testing on inanimate, non-porous environmental surfaces. The contact time is part of the result, not an optional step.
Use the current spray label and product-specific evidence for your application. This announcement concerns GK Surface disinfectant; it does not establish the same result for Surface Wipes or every material and use.
